The delivery of the product was refused and returned to the seller because the tariff fee that was tacked on the package was higher than the cost of the product plus the shipping charge. Never had a chance to try out the product. Have not received a credit from the seller for the return of the merchandise!!!

I have ordered an adapter for a top quality Cardas Beyond Clear headphone cable, which is terminated to 4 PIN XLR. As I have bought an amplifier with RCA output only, I could not use it with my cable as such, and I needed an adapter.
I ordered this 4PIN XLR FEMALE to 6.3 TRS MALE adapter, which was, relatively to the average prices, quite expensive. It was also produced in India, so I did not have any information about the company HEADGEAR.
After receiving and using it, I can confidently say that it is of excellent quality. For connectors it utilizes the reliable NEUTRIK connectors, and the cable itself looks substantial, one of good quality.
But the real test is how it sounds! And it has sounded excellent indeed! The whole frequency spectrum has been delivered with fidelity and musicality! The tremble are clear and airy, the midrange (a strong point of the specific Cardas cable) exceptionally musical, natural and rich and the bass strong and extended.
I have compared it with other cheaper adapters that I have bought, and the difference is not subtle.
So if you have a good quality cable and you need an adapter, do not hesitate!
I ordered the item on the 13 Jan from the UK. 15 days later and I still haven't received it. That's 15 days. I can't access the tracking website anymore as supplied by Headgear. I can't do a review except question the choice of carrier.
